Gaggle is a spectacular all girl alt-choir that sing songs to strip the skin from your bones and scare the bejeezus out of you.
The Gaggle Christmas Service will act as a preview for Gaggle's eagerly anticipated debut album, due out in early 2012; Gaggle will also be treating audiences to some seasonal surprises. Anyone who has seen Gaggle live can attest to the power of their performance, this show is not to be missed. After releasing their acclaimed debut single in March 2010, Gaggle emerged as an exciting and indefinable force to be reckoned with. They've have spent the last 18 months dedicated to their reworking of The Brilliant and the Dark - a 1969 cantata for women's voices originally performed by 1,000 women volunteers at the Royal Albert Hall. This show sees a special unique location at the marvellously bizarre and interesting Hackney New Empowering Church space, next to London Fields.

GAGGLE are recruiting. They are looking to take on up to seven new members.
Chief Gaggle Deborah says of the drive: "To be in Gaggle you need to love women, dressing up and long bus journeys. You need rhythm like Tina Turner, a microphone technique of TuneYards and the ideals of a trade union. No whiners, just winners. All you need to do is email gagglemale@googlemail.com telling us what you've got that we'd love here at Gaggle. Videos and soundbites will be enjoyed. Don't worry about what you look like; don't worry what you sound like. We love all types."
